Last Summer my hair resembled an extra from the programme Benidorm – all frazzled and brittle. This year I have taken precautions! I had a keratin treatment done before I left to take the worst of the frizz away and loaded up on proper products to protect my hair.
In the maze of brands, I still stay loyal to Keratase. I have used their mask for years and this Summer I have been using the Soleil Range which is specifically developed to use in the sun and after the beach or pool.
I have highlights and if I am not careful they fade to a unappealing shade of yellow. I do wear a hat but despite this the ends still are exposed.
The following routine has really worked for my hair:
I use the Micro Voile Protector every morning, and I top up during the day, in the same way I would use a sunscreen. It is not greasy and absorbs straight away.
I use the ‘leave in’ CC cream in the evening, I use it like an after sun for my hair and again it is not too greasy and it has worked miracles on the ends which are much softer since I started using the product.
The mask is the best I have used on holiday, it adds moisture back to your hair and I leave it in a couple of times a week to give my hair a real kick.
I also have been using the mask on Luella and she has no more knots in her hair and it is super shiny. She is in the pool and sea every day and has super thick long hair.
I was gifted these products but I am happy to recommend them as I have now used them all Summer and I will absolutely repurchase them, as I have seen the improvement in my hair over last year. The co-ord set is from Reformation, you can find similar at on sale the website at the moment.
