Super masks that really work

natura Bisse Extreme Mask

Over the years I have tried so many masks promising to lift, and give you that instant glow, however, most of the time regardless of how much you spend, they really don’t make much of a difference and are a total waste of money and time.  This year I have made it my aim to track down masks that actually work!  I don’t know about you, but at this time of the year, balancing work along with the kids and holidays I am looking in the mirror and not particularly liking what I am seeing!    In lieu of 12 hours uninterrupted sleep,  I have a few secret weapons…

Once a week I use agera microdermabrasion which I have written about before.  It is as good as having a facial in a salon and at £27 it’s a steal.  This product clears away all the dead skin and means that the serums and moisturisers get absorbed more effectively.

Twice a week I use a combination of Natura Bisse diamond extreme oil followed by the diamond extreme mask.  It is by far the most effective mask I have ever used and you wake up looking rested and glowing.

Simply massage in a few drops of the oil (you even get a massage wand to help), it absorbs very quickly.  After this you apply a thin layer of the mask and then off to sleep!  As it sinks in quickly you don’t even get residue on your pillow.  The mask works to seal the oil in so it can work more effectively.  The mask contains retinol (so you must use sun protection).

I sometimes use the mask before I go out if I am looking exhausted.  I just leave it on for 10 minutes and it just adds a bit of va va voom!  To date I have been using it twice a week and my skin looks spectacular the next day.

I started off with samples, as I wanted to be sure it worked for me before I purchased it.  I bought my samples on Ebay and went back and bought the full size at Space NK.

Would love to say that this was gifted as very expensive, but, no!   This was a tip from a lovely blogger friend, Katie (check her out on Instagram at The Converted Closet).  Generally, I would always start with samples as not all skin reacts to products in the same way!
