Vintage Shopping in Los Angeles

021

You cannot go to Los Angeles without going Vintage shopping but where to start? If you like me, are a bit wary of vintage shops as the owners are either a bit odd or you just don’t like the smell, then MS  Vintage is a great place to start.

For those of you in the legal profession take heed, the ladies who run it are very successful lawyers Monday to Wednesday and then the office opens as a vintage paradise for the rest of the week. The items look so current, they have all been dry cleaned and are all pristine.  Also I was left to potter around and when I needed help it was so helpful, these ladies know their stuff!

I came away laden down with treasures, the first one I want to share with you today is the  perfect sequined skirt. When I saw it  I had to have it, as it reminded me of one that Carrie wore in Sex in the City. It is such a relaxed striped material but it is covered with the most beautiful sequins,  it glistenes when you walk. I am wearing it with a Brian Lichtenbergs tshirt I bought at Kitson.  You could dress this skirt up with a grey silk tank top and heels.

I will be listing more vintage options in LA and London in the next weeks

  1. Never bought vintage clothes as the shops always seem a bit musty although I have a crocodile skin bag just like the black one you have featured. Look forward to some London recommendations.

  2. Can’r believe you didn’t buy that back dress with the neck and sleeve detail! Are you mad?? Something tells me you’ll be revisiting that shop!
